Why I started The Feeding Company

Through my career as an occupational therapist, I began to notice a consistent trend of parents being often overly-Informed, but under-supported.

So what do I mean by this?

I mean that parents are inundated with information before they have a baby. Information from books, classes, family members, friends, social media, and the internet.

Now, this is not a bad thing. It’s necessary, it’s needed. But then once the baby is born, there is so little tangible support offered to parents.

You’re on your own.

To figure it all out. And it’s a lot.

You go to the doctor for the baby’s checkups. They weigh them, ask how things are going, give vaccinations as needed.

Eating✔️ sleeping✔️voiding✔️

in, out. that’s it.

So you’re left all alone to try and take all that information you soaked in to prep for your baby and apply it to an actual baby.  A baby that is yours. A baby that is not like any other baby. A baby that may not exactly match what you’ve read.

And that’s scary.

So The Feeding Company was built to be that support. To help you apply all that information to your baby. To listen to those things you worry about. To give you peace of mind and true evidence-based support.

To take all that general information you take in and make it personal. Because becoming a parent should be supported. You don’t have to figure it out alone.

✨The Feeding Company is here for YOU✨
